Front and back views
I modified a design I found on-line (from Seba Designs freebies – part of the Blackwork Trio) and added my initial to the centre on on front and the year on the back. The scissors fob is a tiny biscornu of the centre part of the design, again with my initial. I lined the case with white felt (with card between the aida and felt to stiffen the cover), added white felt “pages” and finished it with a fancy silver button and ribbon to fasten it. It’s stitched in Anchor 325 (variegated floss) on white 14-count aida.
